Project & Development Services - MENA
JLL Project & Development Services (P&DS) MENA provides consulting, design, management and build services to tenant and owners, leveraging technology and digital solutions to drive outstanding service delivery.
We bring a life-cycle perspective to our clients, from development solutions to our core services in programme, project and cost management and consulting in digital solutions, tenancy management, sustainability, leisure & entertainment, and workplace & design.
RoleWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Planning Manager to join our Project Delivery Services (PDS) team in Egypt. This role will play a critical part in maintaining project schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring successful project delivery through effective planning and coordination with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Controls Managers, contractors, and consultants to drive project excellence.
What this Job Involves• Maintain schedule baselines and implement comprehensive performance monitoring mechanisms
• Collaborate with Project Controls Manager, supervision consultants, and main contractors to review progress reports
• Monitor on-site progress and verify accuracy of contractor-submitted reports
• Participate in schedule-related meetings and associated project processes
• Review project status with Project Management team and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure seamless integration of sub-schedules from all project parties
• Review and provide detailed comments on contractor-submitted EOT (Extension of Time) claims
• Analyze time impact of scope changes or variations requested by client or contractor
• Track and report progress against baseline schedule, monitor risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation scenarios
• Report on schedule progress using advanced metrics like EV (Earned Value) and PV (Planned Value)
• Prepare comprehensive periodic progress reports and attend progress meetings
• Assist in drafting progress-related correspondence and documentation
• Produce schedule-related KPIs as required by specific project needs
• Manage effective communication of cost and schedule responsibilities across all project functions.
Desired Skills & Experience• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
• PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is highly advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with Earned Value Management techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project stakeholders
Preferred Location: Candidates located in Sheikh Zayed or Sixth of October Area are preferred.
