About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Planning Manager to join our Project Development Services (PDS) team in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring effective project planning, scheduling, and monitoring for our clients' construction projects. This position is based in New Cairo, Egypt.

Project Location: New Cairo, Egypt

What This Job Involves
• Reviewing and approving Contractor's Programme and detailed baseline schedules. 
• Monitoring project progress and updating schedules regularly to reflect current status.
• Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders and management.
• Identifying and analyzing potential scheduling conflicts and proposing solutions.
• Implementing and maintaining effective planning and scheduling processes 
• Reviewing and analyzing Contractor's claims.
• Supporting the Planning Manager in overall project planning and control activities.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies.
• Coordinating with project teams to ensure alignment with schedules and milestones.
• Providing technical guidance on planning matters to junior team members.

Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Approximately 4 years of relevant experience in Planning, Scheduling, and Project Management.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Office).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with construction projects in Egypt or the Middle East region.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in claim analysis and evaluation.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
