**Description:**
**Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
Responsible for leading and managing an all-day fine dining restaurant located at the prestigious Royal Palms Resort and Spa. Responsibilities to include a variety of leadership tasks such as: recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training and development of team and leaders, overseeing food quality, cost controls, developing menus, inventory controls, implementing innovative and current market trends to improve productivity and sales. Understanding value of our repeat guests, as well as Hyatts’ frequent traveler program are important as we look to continue the success of this active local landmark. Leaders with experience in special events, hotel food and beverage outlets, activations and vendor partnerships are encouraged to apply. Prioritizing a positive work environment as well as mentoring of the management team for the resort outlets will be critical to success. Weekends and holidays will be required.
**Assistant Outlets/Restaurant Managers** must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**The Hotel**
A member of Historic Hotels of America, Royal Palms Resort and Spa is a AAA Four Diamond resort located at the foot of majestic Camelback Mountain. Combining the graciousness and sophistication of a Mediterranean villa with the intimacy and privacy of a secluded retreat, Royal Palms offers 119 custom-appointed guestrooms, regal Spanish Colonial architecture, and more than 20,000 square feet of estate-like meeting space. Designed around the original 1930s historic private mansion, Royal Palms is home to the award-winning T. Cook’s restaurant, the Mix Up Bar and Forbes Four Star Alvadora Spa.
**Qualifications:**
+ **2 years of experience as a restaurant leadership experience, or similar role required**
+ **Extensive food and wine knowledge, ability to engage guests with information and anecdotes to create a memorable visit**
+ **Computer literacy, email, MS office, Teams etc.**
+ **Familiarity with restaurant management software**
+ **Strong leadership, motivational and people skills**
+ **Good financial management skills**
+ **Critical thinker and problem-solving skills**
+ **Team player and leader**
+ **Excellent time-management skills**
+ **Great interpersonal and communication skills**
