RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
Receive and follow directions from the Operator and/or Supervisor.
Assist machine operator to set up orders, ink roll adjustments, and ensure quality checks are performed before, during and upon completion of each order.
Inspect machine during run and notify Operator when acceptable parts are not being produced.
Assist in cleanup of equipment.
Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Maintain area and equipment per housekeeping Standards.
Must be committed to working safely, following the company rules and helping identify opportunities for a safer workplace for everyone.
Operate Forklift or Clamp Truck
Be willing to train other employees.
Understand and execute all aspects of paperwork and quality control
Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or GED.
2 years' experience as an assistant operator
Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
Ability to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Packaging and web printing experience (first or second pressman) highly desired
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay rate $22.07 plus shift differential
