Job Description: Asst Hospitality Operations Manager – Hyderabad

Position Overview

The Hospitality Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hospitality services including Cafeteria operations, Pantry services, Events management (Catering & Conference Services), and Front Office operations. This leadership role ensures seamless delivery of hospitality services while maintaining operational excellence, financial accountability, and exceptional customer experience across all service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Cafeteria Operations

Direct the complete café operation including all meal services (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner, Midnight Meal)Oversee kitchen production, servery setup, food displays, and SmartQ technology operationsManage comprehensive data including transaction records, revenue tracking, vendor P&L, purchasing, staffing, and billingLead café and kitchen enhancement initiatives and menu engineeringPrepare and deliver client reporting including food vendor ESG metrics, KPIs, Monthly Management Reports (MMR), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)Drive employee engagement activities and vendor relationship managementCollect, analyze, and implement improvements based on customer feedbackOversee equipment management including purchasing, repair scheduling, and maintenanceMonitor service violation issues and implement corrective actionsEnsure Business Continuity Planning (BCP) preparedness for food service operationsEnforce rigorous hygiene standards and compliance with food safety regulationsManage inventory control, storage optimization, and vendor compliance tracking

Events Management (Conference Services & Catering)

Oversee daily event execution and meeting servicesDevelop and refresh catering menus through strategic menu engineeringImplement efficient invoice tracking and reconciliation processesLead planning and coordination for upcoming eventsDrive continuous improvement of meeting spaces and conference facilitiesManage vendor relationships and performance for event servicesTrack and control purchases and other event-related expendituresOptimize communication flow between clients, JLL teams, and service vendors

Pantry Operations

Monitor all pantry operations and service deliveryTrack pantry consumption patterns and manage consumables costsManage vendor relationships for supplies and servicesImplement data-driven decision making for pantry operationsDevelop and execute pantry enhancement initiativesOversee inventory management and storage optimizationEnsure vendor compliance with service standards and contractual obligations

Reception/Front Office

Supervise daily front office operations and service standardsManage visitor management systems and dataMaintain accurate incident records and reportingImplement efficient data management practices

General Management Responsibilities

Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all service areasPrepare and present Monthly Management Reports (MMR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for clientsConduct regular client engagement through daily, weekly, and monthly touchpointsManage the invoicing process and ensure accuracy of all financial transactionsDevelop and monitor departmental budgetsImplement comprehensive training programs for staff developmentEstablish and maintain risk governance frameworksTrack and analyze incidents, implementing preventive measuresFoster team engagement and collaborationMonitor JLL sub-vendor KPIs and performanceEvaluate staff performance and recommend promotionsDevelop strategic plans for continuous service enhancementOrganize staff engagement activities and recognition programsManaging vendor complianceEfficiency in vendor selection and performanceMonitoring and front heading department Audits

Strategic Leadership Responsibilities

Develop long-term strategic plans for hospitality service enhancement and innovationIdentify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savingsBuild and maintain strong client relationships at all levelsLead sustainability initiatives within hospitality operationsImplement industry best practices across all service linesDevelop talent through mentoring and professional development opportunitiesDrive digital transformation of hospitality servicesConduct competitive benchmarking to ensure service excellenceEstablish crisis management protocols for hospitality servicesLead change management initiatives for service improvementsDevelop and implement customer experience strategiesCreate and monitor business continuity plans for all service areas
