hour exempt supervisory position with rotation to evenings nights weekends and holidays as neededProvides clinical care to patients as necessary to meet unit needsReports to the Nurse Manager of the MaternityNewborn unitWorks collaboratively with the Managers of North and Labor and Delivery to facilitate a smooth transition of patient care and sharing of resourcesKey Accountabilitiesmiddot Supports the Unit Manager in day to day operations supervision of staff and conflict resolutionmiddot Provides expert clinical caremiddot Role models professionalism interdisciplinary collaboration and teamworkmiddot Functions in the Resource role utilizing resources effectively and efficientlymiddot Facilitates unit ldquoHuddlesrdquomiddot Coaches and mentors staffmiddot Performs staff evaluationsmiddot Supports the patient experience through a patientfamily centered approach to decision making and practice regular patient rounding monthly tracking of patient satisfaction data and identifying opportunitiesmiddot Assists Manager in managing change and sustaining initiativesmiddot Performs audits and monitors documentation and adherence to standardsmiddot Exhibits the HH
