The Assistant Nurse Manager will monitor daily clinical operations of outpatient clinics. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm and will float between Solon and South Pointe.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting. Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care. Anticipate and resolve patient care and personnel issues. In conjunction with the clinical manager, ensure maintenance of annual staff competencies and continuing education. Perform duties of the RN (Registered Nurse) Ambulatory as needed. Collaborates with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care. Participate and/or coordinates committees, task forces, and continuous improvement activities. Participate in department leadership meetings. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives. Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed. Participate in hiring and onboarding of personnel, annual performance reviews, and performance improvement.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Two years of recent experience as a Registered NursePhysical Requirements:
Full range of motionManual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordinationCorrected hearing and vision to normal rangeSome exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluidsLight Work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantlyPersonal Protective Equipment:
