Where is the work:
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
Role Overview: The Technical Solutions Manager designs and delivers temporary temperature control solutions for industrial, commercial, and event clients. This role bridges engineering expertise and commercial sales to provide customized, turnkey cooling rentals.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Design & Engineering:
Assess client sites to calculate thermal cooling loads.
Design temporary chilled water and air systems.
Select appropriate rental assets including chillers, ACs, PHE, Cooling towers etc.
Specify required ancillary gear like pumps and hoses.
Create detailed engineering schematics and piping layouts.
Release BOM and review and availability of equipment.
Ensure system designs comply with local environmental regulations.
Project & Operational Execution:
Manage technical projects from concept through equipment de-mobilization.
Oversee on-site installation, commissioning, and testing phases.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical system issues.
Coordinate with logistics teams for timely asset delivery.
Supervise third-party contractors and field technician team.
Commercial & Sales Support
Partner with sales teams to attend technical client meetings and site visit.
Draft technical portions of commercial rental proposals.
Generate accurate cost estimations for labor and materials.
Deliver technical presentations to corporate decision-makers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in HVAC.
Proven experience in temporary equipment rental industries
Deep expertise in industrial refrigeration.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or specialized HVAC design software.
Strong understanding of electrical control panels and VFDs.
Excellent project management and client-facing communication skills.
