**Position:** Assistant Manager – Taxation & Financial Reporting **Position Snapshot:** + Place of work: Nestlé Lanka - Head Office + Area: Finance and Control **Position Summary:** Ensure direct/ indirect tax compliance of the company by timely submission of tax computations, tax filing and reporting. Carry out financial reporting activities coordinating with different stakeholders within and above the market. Perform internal control compliance checks of the company processes. **A day in the life of the role:** + Ensure tax compliance including direct/ indirect tax computations, tax filing and reporting + Preparation of inputs for monthly and quarterly accounts for internal reporting purposes as per applicable accounting standards (IFRS). + Manage communication/ representation with tax authorities, external auditors and tax/ business organizations. + Manage Internal controls (IC) related key performance indicators and carry out internal control process reviews to address any compliance gaps. + Analyze ledger accounts to ensure that the balances reflected in the respective accounts are reconciled and up-to-date. + Adhere to various reporting requirements related to financial components to enable management decision making. **What will make you successful?** + **Education:** A degree in Business Management/ Accounting/ Finance and relevant full professional qualification in Chartered Accountancy. Certification in taxation will be an added advantage. + **Expected experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in taxation, accounting & reporting, Internal control/ auditing. Prior taxation experience and interaction with the Inland Revenue Department. + **Language skills:** Fluency in English. + **Other skills:** Possess sound knowledge in applicable tax laws and regulations, accounting standards, reporting requirements. Have good technical and analytical skills, stakeholder management, adaptability, initiative and problem-solving skills.
