Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role contributes towards the maximisation of the sales, profitability, and brand equity via the Franchise channel through management and executing of pre-season and in-season planning, reporting and management of inventory and markdown activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the European Merchandising Strategy for the Franchise channel in all activities conducted by the department. Support in managing the implementation of focus on key merchandising principles in the market in relation to pre- and in-season planning and inventory management. Work with the (Senior) Manager Planning on the Merchandising Financial Plan (MFP) for Franchise for the upcoming seasons, including delivering a financial plan at store and class level. Support with in-depth historical analysis to identify future potential, as a base for OTB targets. Work with the (Senior) Manager Planning on coordinating the monthly process on Franchise Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Support in driving the standard Franchise reporting process incl. weekly/monthly/seasonal performance for Buying & Planning team with regards to sales performance, inventory levels, margin, markdowns, merchandising KPIs in a harmonized format across all local teams. Support the planning and tracking of campaign and promotional period performance in the Franchise channel. Participate in all cross-category store related projects and support derived action plans. Participate in the store development process incl. space planning process by validating existing space, in-season changes and make proposals for category options Continuously propose business and process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure Strong analytical skills Structured, organised and process-orientated Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact on the business Fluent in English. An additional language(s) is/are an advantage Advanced user of MS Office suite of products, esp. Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI skills as advantage
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
University degree, ideally in business with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience 2+ years’ experience in Retail Merchandising (incl. buying, planning, distribution, budgeting); finance background preferred Multi-store experience essential Functional awareness of Store Operations, Visual Merchandising & Marketing
