The adidas Performance Media team is seeking an Assistant Manager Paid Social & Display Programmatic to own, brief, and optimize our paid social & display programmatic campaigns across EMEA. This role is pivotal in driving lower and mid-funnel performance through paid social and display platforms, while contributing to the overall performance media strategy as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in paid social advertising, including campaign planning, execution, and optimization across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and others. Familiarity with display programmatic is a plus. The role requires a data-driven mindset, a passion for performance media, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver against business KPIs.
This position reports directly to the Senior Manager Paid Social & Display.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, brief, and oversee the setup of Paid Social and Display Programmatic campaigns to deliver profitable activations aligned with business KPIs. Collaborate with media agencies and vendors to manage day-to-day operations across social platforms and programmatic DSPs. Drive ROI in the mid and lower funnel through performance campaigns across EMEA. Manage the production and QA of creative assets for both Paid Social and Display Programmatic, working closely with in-house creative and digital activation teams. Manage & optimize product feeds and catalogs to push our DPA campaigns forward. Align with the Product team on feed testing and optimization, and with Brand on platform positioning to ensure adherence to brand guidelines. Support the Paid Media Manager in executing the overarching strategy for Paid Social and Display Programmatic, ensuring consistent performance and innovation.Key Relationships:

Traffic:Quality traffic and site visits. Revenue:ROAS, platform revenue, and net sales from Paid Social campaigns. Engagement:Platform-specific engagement metrics (e.g., CTR, video views, saves, shares). Efficiency:Budget pacing, cost-per-result, and optimization effectiveness.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor or Master’s degree required, with 3-4 years of experience in Paid Social and Display Programmatic – is a plus - ideally from a media agency or advertiser with a focus on performance/sales campaigns. Experience in setting up and optimizing campaigns in Meta and ideally DV360 too - including audience analysis and segmentation. Additional experience with Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit and Tiktok is highly valued. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Smartly is required. Experience in product feed and catalogue management. Strong understanding of digital infrastructure, ad-serving, and tracking technologies (DCM, Meta), including tag management and cross-device measurement. Passionate about the brand, outgoing, and skilled at building strong relationships with external partners and media vendors.
