The Assistant Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics Operations will support the planning, execution, and optimization of supply chain and logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods while maintaining high operational standards.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Supply Chain Strategy & Operations\n\n\nAssist in developing and executing supply chain strategies across procurement, inventory, distribution, and logistics.
\n\n\nMonitor supply chain performance via KPIs and support enhancements to drive operational excellence.
\n\n\n2. Logistics & Distribution Management\n\n\nOversee logistics operations including inbound/outbound transportation, warehousing, and deliveries to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
\n\n\nCoordinate with freight partners, negotiate service rates, and ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.
\n\n\nManage documentation for shipments and customs where needed.
\n\n\n3. Inventory & Vendor Management\n\n\nMaintain optimal inventory levels, conduct audits, and minimize shortages or overstock situations.
\n\n\nEvaluate and manage supplier performance; support contract negotiations to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
\n\n\n4. Analytics, Reporting & Cost Control\n\n\nGenerate reports on inventory, logistics metrics, procurement, and cost variances; assist in forecasting and demand planning.
\n\n\nIdentify cost-reduction opportunities and help implement continuous improvements.
\n\n\n5. Compliance & Risk Management\n\n\nEnsure adherence to regulations and internal SOPs for logistics and supply chain practices.
\n\n\nHelp develop risk mitigation plans addressing disruptions in transportation, customs, or vendor activities.
