Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in adjudicating both major and minor life claims, including high-net-worth medical claims. This role requires strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering fair and timely claim decisions.

Responsibilities

- Assess and adjudicate life, critical illness, and medical claims in accordance with policy terms and regulatory guidelines

- Liaise with medical professionals, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders to gather necessary documentation

- Communicate claim decisions clearly and professionally to clients and intermediaries

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims

- Support continuous improvement of claims processes and systems

- Provide guidance to junior claims staff

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field

- Minimum 5 years of life claims experience

- Strong understanding of life insurance claims, including death, disability, critical illness, accident and medical claims

- Experience handling high-net-worth medical claims

- Professional certifications in insurance or medical underwriting are an advantage

- Ability to interpret medical reports and legal documentation

- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities

- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus

- Effective communication and negotiation skills

- Familiarity with claims systems and workflow tools

- High level of integrity and discretion
