We are looking to onboard a young and dynamic Green Building Professional with 3+ years of experience in implementing IGBC Green Building Certification projects, conducting energy simulations, and supporting ESG initiatives across Brookfield Properties' PAN India sites. The candidate will support our sustainability goals and assist me in certification processes, reporting, and data analysis tasks.
Please note that this is a new position, and the selected candidate will be a part of the JLL Central Team. An interview has already been conducted with the client, Mr. Mukund, and the candidate was found to be satisfactory. Post salary negotiations, we will initiate the approval process from the client side.
Key Responsibilities
Green Building Certifications
Assist in end-to-end management of IGBC rating systems (e.g., Existing Buildings, Net Zero Rating, Health & Well-being etc.)Prepare documentation, drawings, calculations, and reports for IGBC submissionsCoordinate with site teams and service providers for compliance documentationConduct preliminary site audits and assist in green audit readinessSimulation & Technical Analysis
Perform energy modelling using eQUEST or similar toolsSupport daylight analysis, envelope efficiency calculations, and HVAC optimizationEvaluate baseline vs. proposed system performance and contribute to ECM recommendationsESG & Sustainability Support
Assist in data collection and reporting for frameworks such as GRESB, BRSR, CDP, and GHG accountingTrack and report energy, water, and waste KPIs for assigned projectsSupport the development of ESG dashboards, audits, and sustainability awareness initiativesContribute to ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management documentationReporting & Coordination
Maintain project trackers and certification checklistsPrepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholdersCoordinate with vendors and service providers for sustainable product documentationMaintain updated records for certifications, renewals, and complianceCandidate Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Environmental EngineeringPostgraduate diploma/degree in Environmental, Energy, or Sustainable Design (preferred)Certifications (Preferred)
IGBC Accredited Professional (IGBC AP)Trained in energy modeling tools (e.g., eQUEST, DesignBuilder, IES-VE)Familiarity with LEED, IGBC, and ESG reporting frameworks is a plusExperience
3–4 years of relevant experience in green building certification and sustainabilityHands-on experience in at least 2–3 certified or registered green building projectsExposure to ESG reporting or sustainability data tracking (desirable)Key Skills
