The Role: Assistant Manager, Operations, Key Developments

The Team: Key Developments team’s mission is to produce structured summaries of material news and events that may impact the market value of securities. They play a crucial role in various financial workflows, including research, analysis, risk management, compliance, and trade surveillance.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled professional with exceptional detail orientation and analytical skills to join us in our mission.

The Impact: This role will be leading teams that work on collection of Key Developments data that is used by our clients. It involves working with team-members, other managers within Key Developments and teams within domain/cluster/content organization to drive various projects and initiatives with goal of delivering best in class, differentiated content to meet and exceed client expectations.

Accountability would also be towards driving the business objectives and be a role model for people and peer group, communicate with passion and enthusiasm, embrace change as a way of working. Additionally, you need to ensure accurate, complete, and timely delivery of the data to both internal and external clients, managing stakeholder relationship & building technical acumen by virtue of involvement in various projects. In this role, you will work closely with members of our global teams, adding value to our content, as you work to ensure the highest possible levels of data quality, timeliness, and completeness.  You will gain invaluable insight into the areas of data collection, data analysis, and financial services. You’ll be given the support and direction needed to help you succeed, while working as part of a diverse, experienced, and passionate team. 

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple team members working on collection/value added tasks within Key Developments teams.Leads teams across assigned business/region for workflow systems with a focus on managing process, productivity and functionality improvements.Effective co-ordination and constructive relationship within internal, intra-cluster and other dataset teams across offices.May interact with internal and external clients as necessary and occasionally works on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned.Owns the performance measurement processes, talent development, team engagement and VIBE for his/her teams.Generates and timely shares various status reports/updates to stakeholders.Manages/supports multiple operational or project/focused teams across offices in planning and implementing process and operational changes across different teams.Proven ambassador of LEAN culture and promoter of various concepts of LEAN, Robotics, AI etc.Identifies individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst team. Guide and coach leads & teams for future growth.The position would require working in rotational/night shifts on need basis.

What we’re looking for:

Functional and Business Knowledge:

Preferred to have a decent understanding of Key Developments dataset, good knowledge of Data/Content Management operations and knowledge of global financial markets would be an advantage.Good oral and written communication skills.Possesses strong analytical skills and out of box thinking.Sound knowledge of SQL & MS Office.

 Problem Solving:

Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting.Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.

Basic Qualifications:

Excellent leadership skills and people management skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine tasks.Strong in Time Management & Presentation SkillsFamiliarity with Blue Prism, Python, Tableau, Six Sigma certification would be an added advantage.PG degree in commerce or business administration/management
