The Assistant Sales Manager – Industrial Division (North Region) will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing sales strategies across the North Region for a leading German multinational. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with strong exposure to the industrial lubricants sector, proven team-handling capability, and the ability to drive sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned to the regional industrial market
• Achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets in line with business objectives
• Identify market opportunities and build long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and benchmarking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technical, supply chain, finance)
• Track sales performance through KPIs and initiate corrective actions
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings
• Ensure adherence to sales policies, credit control, collections, and compliance
• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in sales and business development
• Strong exposure to industrial lubricants, specialty chemicals, or OEM segments
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively within the North Region
