Our client, the heavy-duty truck service industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be part of the service department supporting the management and supervision of technicians and service operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $30/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday with flexibility to work occasional Saturdays; also needs to be flexible to work a night shift once every week/month for employee training

What's the Job?

Supervise and delegate tasks to the service team, ensuring efficient workflow Assist in managing customer service interactions and resolving issues effectively Coordinate repair processes and communicate with technicians and customers Oversee repair software operations and OEM knowledge application Support training and development of team members to ensure high service standards

What's Needed?

5-10 years of experience in a mechanical or service management role - MUST BE LISTED ON RESUME Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and trailers Proficiency with repair software and OEM systems Excellent computer skills, including Outlook and general hardware proficiency Ability to pass a 7-year background check and 10-panel oral swab test
