**Process Overview***
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
The CFOC (CFO Change) team, which is part of the COO & Governance organization within CFO division, delivers finance projects and technology solutions for the Bank of America (BAC) enterprise and also supports Line of Business (LOB) projects that impact our core finance and general ledger applications. The CFO Change team is responsible for overall program/project management, business analysis and requirements, functional design, testing, organization readiness and deployment activities.
**Job Description***
This role is for a testing analyst resource responsible for planning and execution of testing in support of the CFOC (CFO Change) delivery of programs/projects in the US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM regulatory reporting groups.
This role will work closely with the onshore business lead and/or product owner, end users (including upstream/downstream users), and technology. The types of testing will include Functional User Acceptance & End to End Testing, and dress rehearsals when appropriate. The successful results of testing will enable the deployment of the application changes into production.
For this role we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Regulatory Reporting Testing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, one will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial regulatory reports through comprehensive testing processes.
**Responsibilities***
1. Conduct thorough testing of financial regulatory reports to validate data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and compliance, to understand reporting requirements and ensure testing aligns with regulatory guidelines.
3. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies to assess the integrity of financial data used in regulatory reporting.
4. Identify and communicate potential issues or discrepancies in regulatory reports, working closely with stakeholders to address and resolve findings.
5. Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements to ensure testing processes remain current and effective.
6. Document and maintain detailed testing documentation, including test cases, test results, and issue resolution.
7. Provide regular updates to management on testing progress, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
8. Collaborate with the broader quality assurance team to enhance testing methodologies and processes.
**Requirements***
**Education***
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Certification if any NA
**Experience Range***
6 to 9 years
**Foundational skills***
Testing Skill:
+ Experience with Functional testing InTechnology implementation projects
+ Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
+ Hands-on experience of testing tools and methodologies, like knowledge of Agile tools (i.e., JIRA is must), and testing tools (i.e., HP Quality Center/ALM is desired)
+ Effective communication skills to convey testing results and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skill:
Basic SQL:
+ Person should have hand-on experience in reading/writing different types of Select, Insert, Update & Delete Queries.
+ Person should have hand-on experience in reading/writing subqueries within a query.
+ Person should have hand-on experience in Select/Update/Delete Data, based on Business Conditions.
+ Able to Write/Understand INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN, RIGHT JOIN.
Advance Excel:
+ Person should have hand-on experience with excel formulas/functions like IF, AND, OR, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH & Nested If using one or combinations of above functions.
**Desired skills***
+ AXIOM Certified or equivalent. Knowledge of US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM regulatory reports
+ Hands-on experience in Axiom Regulatory platform or likewise Applications
+ Basic understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
