We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our store located at 2495 Lincoln Highway East Unit 21 in Lancaster. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and staff managementLead, train, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standardsEnsure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptlyManage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as neededHandle cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accuratelyImplement and maintain merchandising standards to optimize sales and store appearanceAssist in creating employee schedules and managing time-off requestsEnforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environmentAnalyze sales data and contribute to strategies for improving store performanceStep in for the Store Manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed

QualificationsProven experience in retail or customer service, with supervisory experience preferredStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team membersExcellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindsetProficiency in inventory management and cash handling proceduresSolid problem-solving abilities and decision-making skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent time management and organizational skillsComputer proficiency, including experience with POS systems and scheduling softwareHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of retail operations and store management practicesAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
