Perform Risk Assessment (70%): Conduct risk assessments up to the specified authorization limit to ensure accurate and fair underwriting decisions. Agency Service (10%): Support agents’ enquiries and deliver underwriting workshops to the MCV agency to enhance their knowledge and efficiency.Relationship Management (10%): Maintain strong relationships with distributors to facilitate ease of doing business and ensure their needs are met. Quality Assurance (5%): Ensure all new business tasks comply with the Company's New Business Policy & Procedures, Underwriting Guidelines, Rule Book, and service pledge to maintain high standards of quality. Review Underwriters’ works if required. Ad-hoc assignments (5%): Assist Team Leader or Managers to keep track of applications requests for producing monitoring and control reports. Handle ad-hoc assignments.

Responsibilities

Perform risk assessments within the delegated authority limit to protect the company's interests and enhance profitability.Manage underwriting quality to ensure decisions are accurate, fair, and cost-effective.Agency enquiry and support services.

Preferred Skills

Competent knowledge of medical and financial underwriting. Competent knowledge of underwriting processes, risk assessment methodologies, and policy evaluation techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Proficient spoken and written English and Chinese skills (fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin).Competent PC knowledge, includes Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance or related discipline. Minimal 5 years of experience in underwriting. Proficient expertise in MCV business. Extensive underwriting training experience. LOMA (FLMI) or ALU is preferred.
