Objectives:
• Responsible for hazard communication and labelling for China
• Trouble shooting related to Hazard Communication and Labelling for China
• Implement solutions and set up systems to ensure compliance with relevant projects
• Contribute to the advancement of SAP to facilitate safe operations and maintain a license-to-operate, supported by product safety initiatives in Greater China
• Support internal controlling work for the team

Main Tasks
• Develop GHS classification expertise to enhance hazard communication and classification.
• Manage SDS and label templates by analyzing, proposing, and implementing change requests to ensure compliance effectiveness, process/system improvements, and a verifiable compliance record in line with local regulatory trends and optimization needs.
• Provide troubleshooting expertise, consultation, and training to internal stakeholders, including supply chain, EHS, Product Safety community, and OD Product stewardship, regarding general SDS and label compliance matters.
• Support the team in tracking and communicating developments in China’s chemical regulations.
• Assess and respond to internal and external needs and inquiries, developing appropriate responses for customers, including reassessing complex regulatory issues and health-related interpretations.
• Classify hazardous materials and provide support to teams, such as supply chain, to facilitate product flow.
• Collect and organize data for the timely submission of chemical reports or declarations.
• Collaborate with peers to support the implementation of new regulations, conducting impact analyses, project planning, training, and communication.


Job Requirements:
1. Education: Master’s degree in science or engineering, preferably Chemistry, Chemical, Polymer, Material
2. Working Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience
3. Technical & Professional Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of chemical regulations and product safety is essential.
• Good understanding of the master data system, as well as supply chain and business processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to initiate and work independently.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
