A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Payroll Specialist position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll for over 600 employees and multiple entities. Oversee monthly and annual payroll cycle planning, compliance, and audits. Partner with internal HR teams, Finance, and the regional HRIS team to drive efficient and accurate workflows. Design and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payroll processes. Lead payroll system enhancements, including managing UAT and supporting change implementation. Ensure compliance with Singapore payroll legislation, including CPF and income tax regulations. Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and government agencies. Guide and develop a small payroll operations team through mentorship and training.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field. Minimum 6 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multinational environment. Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is essential. Strong knowledge of Singapore payroll laws and expatriate payroll handling. Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented with strong stakeholder communication skills.
