Assistant Manager, Operation Management, National Control Tower

Job Purpose:Deliver the operations of integrated country control tower & customer program management, to provide single interface and serve a variety of specific customer transportation, logistics management and visibility needs; account specific KPIs across all products and locations with bespoke solutions meeting tactical and strategic transportation and logisitics management needs. Deliver a full range of customer activities in order to implement customer projects, optimize customer specific operational process to facilitate business growth
Main Accountabilities1.Drive the team to achieve customer specific KPIs and service agreements, drive service improvement and increase customer satisfaction. 2.Drive the team to provide an optimized process, resolution on repetitive service issues and intended customer program implementation to facilitate customer retention and penalty avoidance.3.Liaise with customers to understand their service requirements and to review current performance to ensure operation excellence and timely resolution on issues surfaced, continuously deliver the service improvement; 4.Ensure tangible deliverables and KPIs of program management activities on account level for customer retention, process and cost optimization, systematic approach on operational issue resolution, service quality improvement and cost saving realization for designated accounts.5.Liaise with the related functions ( i.e. operations/Product/FICO/IT/Stations/Commercial/ Implementation) to resolve structural service/operational issues or related escalations. 6.Retain a sustainable relationship with allocated customers on daily operation; well communicate with responsible functions to ensure the fulfilment in daily operation per service agreements. \t7.Participate in and support the implementation of programs to meet mandated customer requirements\t8.Handles escalations or escalates further if required\t9.Support Best Practice sharing/ Lesson Learnt on regular basis internally\t

Skills1.Good Product Knowledge and Commercial Skills\t\t\t\t\t\t2.Good international business acumen\t\t\t\t\t\t3.Proven project/ program management experience\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExperience1.At least 5 years' experience in a service related role, preferably in the logistics and supply chain industry\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t2.Excellent knowledge of LOGISTICS and/or the freight forwarding and/or contract logistics business, and with a background and experience in Life Sciences & Chemical will be given preferenceEducational Qualifications3.University bachelor degree in a business discipline or relevant education and work experience preferably in LOGISTICS sector\t\t\t\t\t\t4.Preferably good knowledge of LOGISITICS and/or the freight forwarding and/or contract logistics business\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
