**Description**
The Assistant Manager, National Accounts will oversee the SSB, HSN/QVC, and Nordstrom business for Smashbox. Under guidance from the Direction, National Accounts, the Assistant Manager will pursue opportunities via advertising, corporate events, marketing, merchandising, inventory & sales analysis to ultimately increase brand awareness & grow sales profitably
Areas of Responsibility:
⁃ Sales
o Work with buyer and Director of National Accounts to drive sales growth and profitability omni channel
o With guidance from the Director, National Accounts, plan and execute all promotions and markdowns
⁃ Inventory & Sales Analysis
o Review with the Planner stock to sales ratio in an effort to minimize out of stock in store and sell down discontinued skus
o Review with planner monthly estimates and plans to ensure accounts are tracking to budget and shift when needed. Report areas of opportunity to Director, National Accounts to identify mitigation plans.
⁃ Samples & Marketing
o Execute samples program with retailers to drive conversion.
o Work with buyer on potential corporate & in⁃store marketing opportunities (ex: contests, major retailer events etc...)
o Partner with Marketing to plan social programming with retailers
o Plan seasonal retailer market meetings with support from the Director, National Accounts. Schedule, coordinate and execute.
⁃ Merchandising
o With support from the Director, National Accounts, track gondola and online productivity and report areas for opportunity. Reviewing product assortment & sales to determine what product changes will most positively impact sales
o Responsible for initiating all merchandising updates and assortments o Work with marketing & VM team to ensure all updates are executed in a timely manner and correspond with all advertised items
⁃ Communication
o Coordinate weekly conference calls with buyers and monthly conference calls to review all business opportunities and issues, with supervision from the Director, National Accounts.
⁃ Create and send internal weekly/monthly recaps to include all pertinent info
**Qualifications**
⁃3⁃4 years relevant work experience
⁃Proven, successful sales track record
⁃Self⁃motivated and flexible, able to adapt quickly to change
⁃Able to build collaborative relationships and work cross functionally with sales, marketing, retail partners, demand planning
⁃Excellent analytical skills
⁃Must be proficient at Excel and Power Point
⁃Strong presentation skills
⁃Able to work from Culver City office and travel domestically when needed
⁃Handle multiple projects simultaneously
