Job Overview
The Senior Specialist, Compensation & Benefits will support the implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs for Disney’s Technology Center in Bangalore. This role will work closely with the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with global and regional Total Rewards strategies. The position will contribute to market benchmarking, compensation planning, and compliance efforts, while also supporting communication and education initiatives for employees and leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day compensation administration including job evaluations, salary offers, and internal equity reviewsSupport annual compensation processes such as merit increases, bonus programs, and long-term incentivesConduct market benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business needsEnsure compliance with local compensation and benefits regulationsPrepare reports and dashboards for compensation and benefits -related metrics and trendsCollaborate with HR and business stakeholders to address compensation and benefits queries and provide guidanceParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of C&B operationsSupport communication and training efforts related to compensation and benefits programsSupport the execution of local benefits programs including health & risk insurance, wellness initiatives, and retirement plans, etc.Coordinate with the Regional Benefits team to ensure timely rollout and localization of benefits offeringsAssist in tracking and documenting legislative changes impacting employee benefits in IndiaMaintain benefits-related data accuracy in HR systems and support audits and compliance checksWork with GHRO to provide responses to employee inquiries and escalate complex cases to the Senior Manager or Regional Benefits teamParticipate in benefits benchmarking exercises and contribute to reporting and analysisWork in close collaborate with HR Operations and Payroll to ensure smooth administration of benefits processesRequired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in compensation and/or benefits within the Indian market, and High Tech Industry experience a plusBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field required; Relevant certification preferredStrong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detailFamiliarity with compensation structures, benchmarking methodologies, and regulatory frameworksEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a matrixed environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, Workday, or similar systems is a plusStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive informationTeam-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused mindsetEducation:
