Assistant Manager, Business Planning & Strategy

Here, your voice and ideas matter, your work makes an impact, and together, you will help us define the future of American Express. **How will you make an impact in this role?** This role is responsible for strategic planning and analytics to drive growth for the American Express Consumer, Commercial and Insurance business in Hong Kong market and across Asia. This position will be supporting pivotal business decision making in the Executive Office of the Head of American Express International Card Services Asia. **Key responsibilities include:** + Strategic Business Planning & Performance Tracking + Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support business analysis, strategic planning, and execution of management action plans. + Conduct market and consumer analysis to identify business potential and collaborate with different stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives. + Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify potential opportunities or risks, and share actionable insights across functions. + Prepare regular reports and business performance dashboard to support business initiatives and performance tracking. + Continuously monitor scorecard performance and key business metrics to proactively identify challenges or opportunities. + Operation, Communications & Project Management + Manage and operationalize multiple growth projects simultaneously with strong adherence to timelines and good engagement level with business/function leaders in the organization. + Cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders to coordinate regular review and drive key initiatives and cross-market synergy. + Support in preparing presentation materials and logistics management of regional summit and regular business updates to senior leadership team. + Support ad-hoc strategic projects and deliverables. **Preferred Qualifications** + University graduate or equivalent + Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking, Business Planning or Financial Services related business preferred + Strong analytical and research skills with great attention to details + Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights + Effective communication and presentation skills with active listening and the ability to influence others + Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong relationship-building skills + Experience in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL/Tableau is a plus **Qualifications** We back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
