About the Role

The role is to deliver high quality and transparent actuarial service such as actuarial investigation, data analytics, independent review on actuarial work, in-country actuarial support etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide in-country actuarial valuation / pricing / other relevant actuarial technical support as requested by countries

Assist in streamlining, automating and enhancing the actuarial process leveraging the technology by relating the common process across different reporting bases and budgeting

Support financial initiatives by performing financial projections, profitability analysis and impact assessment with guidance from managers

Assist in independent review on actuarial work, e.g. EV/VONB reporting

Maintain good relationship with customers at countries and Group Office through regular communication

Minimum Job Requirements:

University graduate and having made good progress towards Fellowship in a recognized actuarial association

Minimum 4 years’ relevant actuarial experience

Self-starter

Strong technical skills and project management skills

Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis techniques

Experience in financial reporting, e.g. EV reporting, IFRS 4 / 17 would be a plus

Willingness to investigate complex technical issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
