Job Description:

This role is primarily responsible for providing actuarial support on IFRS 17 financial reporting, method and assumption changes, experience studies and monitoring.

During the off-quarter end period, the incumbent will also participate in various actuarial projects including but not limited to IFRS 17 financial optimization, financial reporting process improvement, control enhancement and actuarial/stochastic modelling support.  
 

Responsibilities 

Support IFRS 17 Financial Reporting

Quantifications and actuarial modelling support on method and assumption changes

Communicate with Finance to ensure smooth and consistent process between Actuarial and Finance

Perform experience studies and monitoring

Support other actuarial projects and business initiatives as assigned 

Requirements

Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting areas

Knowledge in IFRS 17/HKRBC is preferred

Experience in Moody’s Axis is a plus

Experience in stochastic modelling is a plus

Knowledge in actuarial modelling

With good SOA Exam progress
