Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Assistant Manager to support the Engineering function and ensure the efficient operation of all hotel facilities. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment, strong technical skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Main Duties

Supervise maintenance and engineering activities in line with company standardsPlan and monitor the preventive maintenance programCoordinate repair works across guest rooms, public and back-of-house areasMonitor plant systems, equipment, and fire life safety systemsReview technical reports and take corrective action in coordination with the Director of EngineeringManage inventory, technical materials, and consumption levelsEnsure compliance with local regulations and safety standardsCollaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and guest satisfactionSupport vendor management, procurement processes, and approval of technical requestsEnsure high service standards, effectively handling requests and complaintsPromote a collaborative team environment across departmentsAssist in the preparation of the Engineering budget and monitor costsOptimize resource utilization in line with financial objectivesEnsure compliance with financial policies and reporting proceduresSupervise the Engineering team, supporting training, development, and performance reviewsFoster engagement, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and safety standardsMaintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure full compliance with company policies and proceduresCarry out additional operational duties as required
