Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager
Location: Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club – Aurora, CO
Salary: $25-30/hr. depending on experience (Full-Time)
Schedule: Full-Time | Occasional evenings/weekends as needed
Reports To: Facilities Manager

Our 37,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and world-class golf course serve over 1,400 homes across 700 acres. We take pride in providing a high standard of service, safety, and functionality to our residents and members.


Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assistant Maintenance Manager with strong experience in building maintenance and general facilities operations. This position supports the Facilities Manager in overseeing daily maintenance tasks, coordinating vendors, and ensuring the property is well maintained, safe, and operating efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems
• Respond to service requests and perform hands-on repairs as needed
• Help manage preventative maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion
• Assist in supervising maintenance staff, custodians, and contractors
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and maintenance records
• Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and presentable for residents and guests
• Help coordinate seasonal setups, event support, and emergency repairs
• Support compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Fill in for Facilities Manager during absences as needed


Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building or facility maintenance
• Hands-on skills in at least two trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in hospitality, residential, or golf community setting preferred
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties
• Valid driver’s license required
