Assistant Maintenance Engineer - Hotels - Full Time

Our Assistant Maintenance Engineer performs general maintenance duties including, but not limited to, working with small hand tools, painting, wallpaper, tile, carpet, Guest-room-repair calls, finish work and assist Maintenance Engineers with mechanical work.
**Responsibilities :**
+ Replacing and cleaning guest room ventilation filters
+ Cleaning plenums, ducts, and fan units
+ Replacing incandescent light bulbus and cleaning fixtures
+ Performing minor repairs on room checklists can include room drapery rods, walls, doors, dressers, tables, beds, and headboards
+ Replacing Bathroom grouting
+ Dislodging commodes and replacing toilet seats
**Basic Qualifications :**
+ Ability to complete work orders in the computerized maintenance program
+ Interact with Guests and other Cast Members answering questions, providing directions, event information and other services to create a magical experience for our Guests
+ Schedule Availability - Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st – Day Shift, 2nd – Swing Shift, and 3rd – Graveyard Shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off
+ Minimum of 1-year previous experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience in the maintenance of hotel guest rooms and public spaces
**Additional Information :**
Those assigned to this position may be required to complete annual health and safety testing, and compliance training.

**The pay rate for this role in California is $27.04 to $32.93 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.**
