As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of first‑class human resources and employee relations services to the hotel, supporting the senior management team, and ensuring an excellent staff experience. The role includes overseeing HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, training, and cost management in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:
Lead and deliver first‑class employee relations services to the management team and employees, acting as a trusted advisor on all HR mattersDevelop and implement the hotel’s Human Resources strategy, including succession planning, talent development, and workforce planningManage and oversee all employee relations matters in a professional and confidential manner, including disciplinary proceedings, grievances, performance management, and capability casesEnsure the recruitment and selection process is fully adhered to, including compliance with company standards and completion of immigration, right‑to‑work, and legal checksDrive the achievement of departmental and hotel‑wide people objectives in alignment with business goalsOversee and coordinate departmental and mandatory training requirements across the hotelManage HR budgets, control costs where possible, and contribute to achieving hotel and departmental financial targetsEnsure pay reviews, absence management, wage queries, and payroll‑related matters are managed in line with company policies and proceduresEnsure full compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety legislation, and other statutory training requirementsBuild and maintain relationships with local organisations, educational institutions, and schools to promote careers in the hospitality industryAct as a key point of escalation to support and resolve employee and management queries in a timely and professional mannerWhat are we looking for?
