An Assistant Housekeeper is responsible for assisting with overseeing housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while monitoring housekeeping standards and assisting the Executive Housekeeper.The role involves a variable shift pattern between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

What will I be doing?

Assist with overseeing Housekeeping operationsOperate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedulesSupport departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and proceduresMonitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping Team with an emphasis on training and teamworkEnsure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenitiesAssist the Executive Housekeeper to maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliersEnsure staffing levels cover business demands

 

What are we looking for?

Housekeeping experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisory capacityHigh level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilitiesExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skillsCommitted to delivering high levels of customer service
