We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent contractor operating in the UK renewable energy sector, with a strong track record delivering large-scale solar PV construction and O&M projects across the country. With significant growth in clean energy and a strong pipeline of utility-scale projects, the company is expanding its health and safety function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant Health and Safety Manager to join a forward-thinking organisation and play a key role in maintaining high HSEQ standards across multiple live sites.

Key Responsibilities
Support the safe delivery of solar PV construction and O&M projectsAssist with development and implementation of RAMS, audits, inspections, and toolbox talksPromote a proactive safety culture on-site and across teamsEnsure ongoing compliance with CDM 2015 and current UK Health & Safety legislationMaintain and update health & safety documentation, including incident reports and performance dataSupport internal training and continuous improvement initiativesRequirements
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or working towards)Experience in construction, civil engineering, or energy/infrastructure projectsWorking knowledge of UK HSE law and CDM RegulationsStrong organisational and communication skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel
