LC State invites applications for the position of Assistant Golf Coach / Fundraising Event Coordinator.
Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $49,754
Degree Required: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Required Qualifications:
Previous golf coaching and/or college golf participation experience
Experience working/coordinating events
Able to exert physical effort or activity that may include, but is not limited to, lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods of time
Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Previous college golf coaching experience
Responsibilities:
Assist in coaching and developing players in all aspects of the game, including technique, strategy, and mental toughness.
Help design and implement practice schedules and drills tailored to individual and team needs.
Provide individual feedback to players on performance during practices and competitions.
Assist with team management, including organizing travel arrangements, equipment, and competition schedules.
Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
Assist in coaching and developing players in all aspects of the game, including technique, strategy, and mental toughness.
Help design and implement practice schedules and drills tailored to individual and team needs.
Develop, implement, and manage the team's weight training and conditioning program in collaboration with the head coach.
Provide individual feedback to players on performance during practices and competitions.
Assist with team management, including organizing travel arrangements, equipment, and competition schedules.
Assist with the development of off-season training plans to improve overall performance.
Assist in planning and facilitation of LC State fundraising events with an emphasis on the Warrior Golf Classic.
Collaboration: Work closely with the athletic department, marketing team, and student organizations
