What this job involves: Lead facilities management operations for a cutting-edge technology center in Wilmington, DE, working alongside the General Manager to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and building performance. This role combines technical expertise with client-focused service, overseeing maintenance operations, vendor management, project implementation, and budget administration while driving innovation in building operations and sustainability initiatives.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Oversee maintenance and repair services in collaboration with the General Manager and technical staff
• Conduct monthly building and property inspections to ensure optimal facility performance
• Manage Prism work order system and interface with tenant representatives and property occupants
• Support project implementation for short and long-term client needs and assist with project management
• Develop and implement annual management plans and participate in building shutdown events
• Coordinate vendor performance discussions and manage existing contracts while sourcing new suppliers
• Maximize supplier utilization including M/WBE enterprises and ensure audit compliance
• Assist with PO management, cost savings initiatives, and budget variance reporting
• Attend site contact program meetings and oversee client reporting at various intervals
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
• 2+ years of facilities or property management experience in corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting role
• Proven track record of client service with ability to establish credibility with clients, facilities teams, vendors, and contractors
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Demonstrate high standards, accountability, consistency, partnership mindset, and ability to empower others to succeed
• Availability for Monday-Friday day shift and on-call emergency response after-hours
Preferred:
• Knowledge of commercial real estate, building operations and systems, accounting, project management, and vendor management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities or property management
Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift and on-call for emergency response after-hours.
Salary: $65,000 - $100,000 / year
