Join our Legal team asAssistant General Counsel, where you’ll play a key role in drafting and managing contracts, supporting litigation and handling receiverships. You’ll also help identify process improvements to make our legal operations stronger and more efficient. What You’ll Do: Contract Management + Draft, review, and negotiate leases and vendor and service agreements. + Assist with maintaining templates and approval workflows. + Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms and associated risks. Receivership Support + Assist in managing legal aspects of court-appointed receiverships. + Coordinate with courts and internal teams. + Attend occasional court hearings and help ensure compliance with reporting and documentation requirements. Litigation Support + Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts in coordination with outside counsel. + Assist with discovery, subpoenas, timelines, and legal file management. Process Improvement + Identify opportunities to streamline legal workflows and increase consistency. + Support development and implementation of new tools and processes to enhance team effectiveness. What You’ll Bring: + Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. + In good standing as a member of at least one state bar. + 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or public agency. + Exposure to leases, litigation, or receiverships is a plus. + Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a practical, business-minded approach.
