Assistant General Counsel
**Job Title** Assistant General Counsel **Job Description Summary** Associate General Counsel, will lead legal efforts in our department transformation to drive best in class legal support for our global and regional teams. **Job Description** + The position will provide practical legal advice across all of Cushman's operations in the Americas. The position will work closely with Cushman's HR partners to accomplish our workforce objectives while minimizing risk across various personnel matters, including performance management; reductions in force; talent acquisition; union relations; leaves of absence and accommodations; EEO/affirmative action; employee benefits; compensation and rewards; and learning and development, among other areas. The position will be responsible for managing outside counsel on litigation matters and providing support on key business initiatives and HR projects. + **Requirements:** + Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and a member in good standing of a U.S. state bar. + 7+ years of litigation and risk experience + Excellent business judgment with the ability to provide sound legal advice which reflects an understanding of Cushman's overall business objectives + Base knowledge of the corporate matters included job description + Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and satisfy numerous competing demands + Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and integrity + Self-motivated and ability to complete matters without supervision; must be able to work independently and be execution-oriented + Superior written and verbal communication skills Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
