Job Description Summary

Associate General Counsel, will lead legal efforts in our department transformation to drive best in class legal support for our global and regional procurement teams. This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role to shape our global procurement contract lifecycle program. The position is expected to manage one direct report.

Essential Job Duties Spearhead the transformation of Cushman's legal support for its global and regional procurement teams to drive best in class legal support with transformational global processes, governance principles and support structureLead and actively manage the contract strategy process through the entire contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to compliance and resolutionTrusted business partner to leaders of global and regional procurement teams to support their ambitious strategic initiatives by driving business partnership and smart risk solutionsPartnering cross-functionally globally with stakeholders in business and legal teams to drive global contract excellence and complianceEvolve our culture to meet our expectations for global contract lifecycle programCompetencies8+ years of commercial/procurement contracting experience; at least 3 years of which obtained at a major law firm and at least 3 years of which obtained at a major international corporationExcellent business judgment with the ability to provide sound legal advice which reflects an understanding of Cushman's overall business objectivesDeep knowledge of commercial/procurement contracting mattersExceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and satisfy numerous competing demandsStrong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and integritySelf-motivated and ability to complete matters without supervision; must be able to work independently and be execution-orientedSuperior written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively manage outside counselJuris Doctorate degree requiredBar Administration in Good Standing

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00
