Assistant Front Office Manager
**Description:** Do you want to make a difference in the lives of those around you, be part of something bigger, and love where you work? **About the Role** The Assistant Front Office Manager will support the Front Office Manager in supervising and managing the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose. Areas of focus can include the front office, guest services, reservations, communications and exposure to housekeeping. **What You’ll Do** + Assist the Front Office Management team in efficiently managing the department according to the established team goals. + Supervision of all front office employees including front desk, guest services, reservations and communications, ensuring their duties are carried out with the utmost efficiency and professionalism + Handling all guest complaints, as well as internal customer complaints and enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner + Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contributions to the success of the operation + Delegation of tasks and responsibilities to staff + Overseeing all staff performance whilst assisting them in their duties + Colleague training & development + Ensuring all employees deliver the brand promise and provide excellent service to both internal and external customers + Assist in the rostering of staff ensuring the department is adequately manned according to occupancy, service and costs **What You Bring** + Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager or Team Leader in Front Office within a four or five-star hotel environment + Proven experience in supervising, motivating and training others + Exceptional interpersonal, communication skills with advanced proficiency in the English language + Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task + Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolutions skills + The capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team + The ability to work well under pressure and possess great attention to detail + The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays + Experienced driver with a G license and clean driving record – Considered an asset **Why Hyatt** At Hyatt, we care for people so they can be their best.
