The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the supervision of the Front Office team, ensuring that Team Members are well-prepared, informed, and trained to deliver an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the overall Front Office operation, ensuring the highest levels of service and efficiency. Your key responsibilities include:

Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the entire Front Office operation to maintain high service standards.

Support in evaluating guest satisfaction levels, identifying trends, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure that regular and VIP guests are properly recognized and that the department promotes a sales-focused attitude, including the hotel brand’s loyalty program.

Maximize room occupancy at the best possible rates, applying up-selling techniques and promoting hotel services and facilities.

Assist with setting departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures.

Monitor the appearance, performance, and service standards of the Front Office Team, with strong emphasis on training and teamwork.

Ensure Team Members have up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, policies, and local area information, and that they receive continuous training.

Maintain effective communication and strong working relationships with all hotel departments.

Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage based on business needs.

Conduct monthly communication meetings in the absence of the Front Office Manager and prepare minutes.

Assist with staff performance management in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Support the recruitment, training, management, and development of the Front Office Team.

Follow all policies and procedures when operating front-of-house equipment and property management systems.

Additional Requirement:

Must have solid experience and full understanding of Forbes Travel Guide standards, ensuring the delivery of luxury-level service aligned with Forbes expectations.
