Assistant Food Beverage Manager - concentration in Catering

Focus on the day to day operations, ensuring accuracy in inventories, following companies quality of standards, staff training, coding invoices, adhering to company budgets, scheduling, customer service as well as cash handling with receipts, food ordering, must be a team player, will report to the General Manager.

FB Catering Assistant: The coordinator is responsible for the setup and execution, and cleanup of events. The coordinator works closely with the clients during the event to ensure all needs are met. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. The ideal candidate will be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have excellent organizational skills, ability to plan, organize, and execute catered events from initial client contact to onsite supervision, ensuring logistics align closely with budgets and quality standards.  Must be able to work closely with clients and vendors, must have efficiency of banquet setup space, presentation and cleanup of all banquet events held at the Pohlcat.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working closely with the team to ensure all events are executed to exceed expectations. Assists in the day of coordination of events. Ensures accurate and timely invoicing for all services rendered, recording events on the POS System for detail and accuracy. Assists with setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, event areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner for events on property. Assist staff throughout events as needed. Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the clients throughout the events regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests and follow up with host at the end of the event. Keep work area clean and neat. Reports directly to the General Manager

Qualifications: Must be Food Safe certified with ANSI/CFP accredited, and Allergen training along with Alcohol license in good standing. The Candidate should have a college education or at least 5 years of management or supervisory experience in food & beverage, or hospitality field.

Compensation: Seasonal Salaried Full-Time position with opportunity for growth will be commensurate with experience and industry trends.
