Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

Support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service, adherence to standards, and achievement of financial goals through strong leadership and efficient operational management.

What will I be doing? 

\n

You will assist in coordinating staffing schedules, monitoring performance, and maintaining service excellence while controlling labor and product costs. In this leadership role, you will actively engage with guests to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded, promptly address concerns, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and team development. Key responsibilities include:

\n\nOversee the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring adherence to service standards and operational procedures.\nLead and support Supervisors and front-line team members to deliver consistent and engaging guest experiences.\nMonitor guest feedback and implement improvements in service delivery and team performance.\nAssist in inventory management, procurement, and cost control initiatives to support departmental financial targets.\nEnsure all areas comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and maintain operational readiness.\nParticipate in departmental planning, including staffing, scheduling, training, and event coordination.\nCollaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to implement marketing initiatives, seasonal promotions, and special events.\nMaintain open and effective communication across departments to ensure operational synergy and service excellence.\nConduct regular inspections of F&B venues to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs are promptly addressed.\nUphold Hilton’s brand values and lead by example to promote teamwork, professionalism, and guest-centric service.\nThis role requires a proactive and hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about hospitality, and is committed to delivering results through people development and operational excellence.\nCoordinate and oversee the performance of the Bar Prep Specialist to ensure quality, consistency, and readiness of beverage offerings across all outlets.\n\n

In addition to the core responsibilities, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is expected to contribute to broader hotel objectives by performing a variety of supportive functions. These tasks may vary based on business needs and are essential to the department’s success and the overall guest experience. Additional functions may include, but are not limited to:

\n\nParticipate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation, which may require evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.\nAttend and actively contribute to departmental and operational meetings.\nSupport the preparation of forecasts, reports, and analysis related to revenue, costs, and labor productivity.\nAssist in the planning and execution of special events, VIP functions, and group operations.\nEngage in community and public relations initiatives representing the hotel’s Food & Beverage offerings.\nEnsure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of all work and storage areas.\nComplete additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager or hotel leadership.\nDemonstrate leadership and accountability that motivates team members to meet and exceed service expectations.\n\n

Education and License/Certificates:

\n\nHBO (Higher Vocational Education) or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.\nValid Aruba Health Card (Green Card).\nStrong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent communication in English (written and verbal). \nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.\n\n
