Position: Assistant Finance Manager (Operations & Reporting)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the company's core finance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Billing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes & POR cycles, along with the ability to support financial planning and decision-making in a fast-paced technology environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Operations: 

Coordinate with all APAC regions and prepare variance reports for all APAC sites (MTD, QTD & YTD)Collaborate with Client Operations vertical leads to collect data for POR cyclesOversee end-to-end accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, billing, and P2P cyclesEnsure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processesMaintain the integrity of financial records and general ledgerManage invoicing, reports, and vendor payments efficientlyMonitor cash flow and working capital management

Financial Reporting & Compliance: 

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirementsSupport internal and external audit processesDevelop and enforce financial policies and controlsDemonstrate adaptability with financial tools in a dynamic environment

Planning & Analysis: 

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processesAnalyze financial performance and provide actionable insightsSupport leadership with financial modeling and scenario analysis

Process Improvement: 

Streamline and automate finance processes where possibleImplement best practices in financial operationsImprove P2P and order-to-cash cycles

Stakeholder Management: 

Partner with business teams to support financial decisionsLiaise with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partnersManage and mentor junior finance staff (when applicable)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience: 

Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related discipline7–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experienceExperience in a technology or fast-growth company preferred

Technical Skills: 

Strong hands-on experience in AP, AR, GL, Billing, and P2P processesProficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)Advanced Excel and financial analysis skillsStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
