What this job involves:

At JLL, we're looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Facilities Manager to support our facilities management operations for key client accounts. In this dynamic role, you'll work alongside senior facilities managers to ensure the smooth daily operation of client facilities while delivering exceptional service that enhances workplace experiences.

This position, you'll contribute to helping maintain safe, efficient, and welcoming environments that enable our clients' businesses to thrive. You'll assist with implementing facility management processes, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting projects that improve operational efficiency while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and budget constraints.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Support day-to-day facilities management operations including coordinating maintenance activities, addressing occupant requests, and monitoring service deliveryAssist with vendor management, including scheduling services, reviewing work quality, and processing invoicesConduct regular building inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact operationsMaintain accurate facilities documentation including floor plans, equipment inventories, and maintenance recordsSupport budget management by tracking expenses, gathering quotes, and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesAssist with implementing health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standardsParticipate in facilities-related projects such as space modifications, equipment upgrades, or sustainability initiatives

Required Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in facilities management or related fieldWorking knowledge of building systems and maintenance practicesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facility management softwareStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersCustomer service mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems and work order managementKnowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to building operationsExperience coordinating with vendors and service providersBackground in customer service or client relationship management
