What this opportunity involves:

We are currently seeking a Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the facilities management in a mix of Owned Properties and Leased Premises within the designated portfolio belonging to our longstanding, telecommunications client.

As a Assistant Facilities Manager, you will support the service delivery functions of client tenants and Facilities Managers.

Overview of the role:

Administer and coordinate facilities management activitiesCoordinate facilities management tasks delegated by the Facilities ManagerEnsure prompt resolution of difficulties on site with minimum disruption to business-as-usual activitiesWork with PSC and service providers to manage escalations, contractor performance, and client complaintsAssist in the development and upkeep of Maintenance Plans for propertiesReview property inspection programsVerify invoicing against contracted ratesManage and monitor the status of work orders raised through CorrigoBuild and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBe the point of contact for Facilities Management within the EntitiesEnsure compliance with OH&S, Environment, and Risk Management Policies and ProceduresAdhere to JLL's business conduct by following guidelines, procedures, and strategiesUse and maintain property database systemsComplete, update, and maintain applicable web-based management information systems

Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a related field is preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and confidentFlexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing situationsTeam player who can cooperate and work well with othersExhibits honesty and trustworthinessAbility to handle multiple issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlinesKnowledge or exposure to building/facilities management is advantageous
