Job description Assist the housekeeping manager in identifying the daily distribution of tasks and weekly leaves, taking into account the occupancy rates, banquets, and workload. Organize the operations to be carried out by the floor attendants and housekeeping supervisors. Inspect all hotel areas and report accordingly to the housekeeping manager. Regularly monitor the work carried out by employees and ensure that each shift is handed over in a complete manner. Maintain continuous contact with departments such as the front office, technical department, and food and beverage department. Check all VIP rooms. Manage storage areas. Substitute the executive housekeeper in his or her absence and attend or manage the necessary meetings. Ensure that the department serves guests in a friendly manner and delivers good services. Ensure that housekeeping personnel comply with the hotel's procedures and rules. Retain employees through training. Ensure that the lost and found procedures are implemented and, when necessary, distribute the items. Monitor and organize the weekly, monthly, and annual detailed cleaning schedules. Organize internal communication meetings with employees daily and when needed. Report locations that need maintenance and repairs to the executive housekeeper. Monitor the use of equipment and deliver necessary training. Participate as a member of the emergency response team. Ensure that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings do not harm the environment. Participate in activities organized to protect biological diversity and share responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training. Promote minimum consumption of resources currently used, such as paper and printed materials. Implement necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy within the facility. Carry out responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects, and lead staff in these efforts. Ensure chemicals are carried, stored, and used safely and in accordance with laws, controlling and reducing chemical pollution. Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facilities. Perform all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description. Qualifications Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the industry in addition to theoretical education. Foreign language: Intermediate level proficiency. Courses and training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field. Computer literacy: Proficient in MS Office applications and housekeeping software programs. Skills: Knowledge and implementation of a full range of services and products in the related field. Awareness of other departments and processes that are affected. Expected to acquire expertise and long-term experience through technical training concerning methods, advanced techniques, special equipment, and work processes. Has excellent command of guest profiles and trains the team on how to address guests effectively. Additional information
