**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
**End-User Support and Training:**
This duty centers on acting as the first point of contact for NetSuite end-user support. The position responds to inquiries, troubleshoots issues, and advances more complex problems to senior staff as needed. A key focus of this role is providing guidance to help users navigate the system efficiently and accurately. To support consistent adoption and knowledge retention, this position develops and maintains both user-facing and admin-level documentation, including how-to guides, FAQs, and reference materials. Shadowing departmental personnel to gain insight into daily operations across business areas is a critical part of building this understanding, as is delivering one-on-one or small-group training sessions to reinforce standard processes and introduce new features.
**Configuration, Customization, and Reporting:**
This duty involves configuring the system to better support business operations, including identifying improvements and testing new features in sandbox environments before full deployment. The position is responsible for building and maintaining saved searches, reports, dashboards, and CSV import templates, as well as codeless customizations using tools like custom records, fields, forms, templates, and SuiteFlow workflows, often to the specifications provided by either end users or senior staff. These elements often exceed the skills or access level of end users and require an understanding of how system logic interacts with business processes. Under supervision, this role contributes to new automations and enhancements, ensuring that departments have access to accurate and actionable data for decision-making.
**Documentation and Process Improvement:**
This duty emphasizes the importance of gathering and sharing knowledge around how the system is configured and used. The position is responsible for documenting custom processes, standard operating procedures, and system configuration details. Key to this work is identifying repetitive or inefficient tasks and proposing improvements to user workflows and the system interface. This role collaborates closely with the NetSuite Developer and ERP Systems Administrator to assess the feasibility of these suggestions and assist in implementing approved changes that enhance the system experience.
**Project and System Support:**
This duty supports larger initiatives led by the NetSuite Developer and ERP Systems Administrator, such as version upgrades, cross-system integrations, and new feature rollouts. This role participates in sandbox testing and user acceptance testing, helping ensure that new functionality performs as intended before promotion to production systems. Contributing structured feedback based on testing outcomes and user interaction with the system is an important part of this collaborative effort.
**User Access and Role Management:**
This duty involves assisting with the management of user roles, permissions, and account access. The role helps ensure access levels align with business needs and supports internal controls by preventing unnecessary permission bloat. It works directly with end users to identify appropriate access requirements for their job functions and participates in periodic audits to maintain system security. This position also plays a part in onboarding and offboarding workflows by coordinating the assignment or removal of user access. Other Duties as assigned.
