Assistant Equipment Technician

Chateau Golf and Country Club is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Assistant Equipment Technician. Previous golf course experience is not required. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow in the turf equipment maintenance industry.

Job Description:

Be trained to grind reels, sharpen blades, set cutting heights, and perform preventive maintenance Assist in larger equipment repairs and diagnostics under the guidance of the Equipment Manager Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support the overall maintenance of golf course equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines Be available to work occasionally on weekends and during golf outings as needed

Qualifying Skills:

A mechanically minded individual who enjoys working with their hands A team player who is reliable, detail-oriented, and open to learning Someone with basic tool knowledge and a desire to build a career in equipment maintenance A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
