Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Implement and enforce company environmental policies and practices. Monitor to suggest updates when required
Interpret federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations to establish the company’s environmental policies and procedures are in compliance and address potential issues
Verify the company complies with all federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations
Address environmental concerns relating to business operations
Identify and research solutions for a course of action to abate or minimize environmental liabilities
Research and prepare documentation for negotiation regarding corrective actions with federal, state, and local agencies on behalf of the company
Monitor and analyze environmental data, prepare report findings for review
Identify, assess, and lessen environmental risks associated with the company’s business operations
Act in accordance to follow budget guidelines for environmental projects and policies
Raise awareness throughout the company of current environmental issues
Maintain current knowledge in environmental issues and endangered species
Coordinate or attend public hearings, conferences and events on environmental issues
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Ability to travel overnight

Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
